Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor (Opel Frontera B)

X22SE and Y22SE engines



Removal



Disconnect the connector from the engine air temperature sensor located on the air intake tube (1).

Disconnect the resonator hose from the air intake tube (1).

Remove the air intake tube (1) and the air filter housing cover (2) as an assembly..

Disconnect the connector of the intake manifold pressure sensor (3).

Disconnect the connector of the intake manifold pressure sensor (3).


Remove the intake manifold pressure sensor from the intake manifold.

Installation



Install the intake manifold pressure sensor to the intake manifold and tighten it to 8 N·m.

Connect the connector to the intake manifold pressure sensor (3).

Install the air intake tube (1) and the air filter housing cover (2). Tighten the air intake pipe mounting nut to the bracket to 16 Nm.

Connect the resonator hose to the air intake tube.



Connect the connector to the engine air temperature sensor located on the air intake tube.

Engine 3.2 l (6VD1-W)



Removal



Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the engine cover.

Disconnect the connector from the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

Remove the bolt and the MAP sensor from the intake manifold.

Remove the bolt and the MAP sensor from the intake manifold.


Installation



Install the absolute pressure sensor into the intake manifold and secure it with the bolt.

Connect the connector to the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
