Intake Manifold Heater Element (Carburetor Models) — Removal, Checking and Installation (Opel Omega A)

1. The heater element is located below the intake manifold. Disconnect the electrical wiring first.

2. Unscrew the screws and remove the element from the intake manifold. Remove the O-ring.

3. Use an ohmmeter to check the resistance at the element wire terminals; it should be approximately 1.5 ohms.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order, use a new O-ring.
