Checking and adjusting the air damper opening



Start and warm up the engine, then stop it. Remove the air filter.

Start the engine and let it run at fast idle.

Close the air damper and measure its opening, which should be within 2.8-3.4 mm. If necessary, obtain the desired size with the adjusting screw of the air damper pneumatic drive.

After adjustment, secure the screw with paint or special varnish.

If the adjusting screw of the pneumatic drive does not allow the required opening of the air damper, replace the pneumatic drive, as well as the pusher and the foot of the air damper drive.
