Adjusting the opening of the air damper
Remove the air filter.
Pull the choke control handle to the position where the mark on the cam is opposite the fast idle adjustment screw (see photo).

Disconnect the hose from the air damper pneumatic drive and connect the hand pump hose to the branch pipe. Use the pump to create a vacuum in the air damper pneumatic drive.
Measure the air damper opening, which should be within 2.8-3.4 mm. If necessary, achieve the required opening with the adjusting screw "A" (see photo) of the air damper pneumatic drive.

If the measured opening is too small, then before turning the adjusting screw of the pneumatic drive, bend the end of the rod "B", and after adjustment bend it back again.
Adjusting the accelerator pump
Before adjusting the accelerator pump, check the condition of the pump piston plate, the defect of which is often the cause of pump failure. If the plate is damaged, replace the pump piston assembly.
Start and warm up the engine.
Remove the air filter.
Make sure that the fuel supply from the pump is uniform by moving its piston several times to full stroke. If the fuel supply is uneven, flush the accelerator pump.
Check the stroke of the pump piston (dimension "A", see photo) by pressing it with a screwdriver; the piston stroke should be within 7.8-8.2 mm. If necessary, adjust the piston stroke by bending the drive lever in the groove area on its upper surface.

Adjusting the needle valve and setting the fuel level in the float chamber
Remove the air filter.
Remove the carburetor cover.
Carefully remove the carburetor cover gasket.
Remove the float and needle valve.
Put the needle valve back in place (see photo).

Measure the gap between the bracket and the float bracket with a flat feeler gauge; it should be 0.2 mm. If necessary, adjust the gap by bending the float bracket.
Replace the needle valve, float and float shaft. Press lightly on the float bracket to close the needle valve without lifting the float shaft.
Measure the distance between the upper mating surface of the float chamber and the float, which should be within 7.5-8.5 mm.
If necessary, adjust this distance by bending the float bracket.
Replace the carburetor cover gasket.
Install the carburetor cover.
Install the air filter.
