Engine Control Unit 3.2L (6VD1-W) (Opel Frontera B)

Warnings:

• Before disconnecting the connectors from the engine control unit, turn off the ignition.
• Do not touch the engine control unit connector contacts.

Removal

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Remove the center console (see the relevant chapter).

Disconnect the connector (1) from the engine control unit.



Remove the bolts and remove the engine control unit (3) from the bracket (2).

Remove the bracket (2) of the engine control unit (3).

Installation

Install the engine control unit (3).

Install the bracket (2) of the engine control unit (3).

Connect the connector (1) to the engine control unit.



Install the center console (see the relevant chapter).

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
