Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the rear console (5) from the center console (3).
Remove the radio from the lower section of the instrument cluster trim (1).
Lower the lower section of the instrument cluster trim assembly and disconnect the connectors from the clock and cigarette lighter lamp.
Disconnect the connectors and antenna wire from the radio, then remove the lower section of the instrument cluster trim from the instrument panel.
Remove the handles from the gearbox and transfer case control levers.
Remove the coin tray (2) from the center console, then disconnect the diagnostic connector to connect the Tech 2 tool.
Remove the center console from the instrument panel.
Remove the protective covers from the gearbox and transfer case control levers.
Installation
Install protective covers on the gearbox and transfer case control levers.
Install the center console onto the instrument panel.
Connect the diagnostic connector to the Tech 2 tool, then install the coin tray (2) on the center console.
Install the handles on the gearbox and transfer case control levers.
Connect the connectors and antenna wire to the radio and position the lower section of the instrument cluster trim (1) against the instrument panel.
Connect the connectors to the clock and cigarette lighter light.
Install the lower section of the instrument cluster trim onto the instrument panel.
Install the radio to the lower section of the instrument cluster trim.
Install the rear console (5) onto the center console (3).
Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
