Warnings! Before removing the instrument cluster trim, please review the safety measures for servicing the SRS auxiliary safety system components. Set the front wheels for straight driving and turn off the ignition. Otherwise, the spiral wire may be damaged and the SRS additional safety system may be disabled. As a result, the airbag may deploy unauthorized, which may result in injury.
Removing and installing the instrument cluster trim are operations that must be performed with care. When removing, make sure that the electrical connectors are completely disconnected. When reinstalling, ensure that the wiring harnesses are routed and secured correctly.
Note: To prevent damage to parts, wrap a cloth around the blade of a flat-head screwdriver.
Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the door sill trim (2) from the left side on a left-hand drive vehicle or from the right side on a right-hand drive vehicle.

Remove the lower trim (1) of the front pillar.
Remove the front door seals.
Remove the lower cover (2) from the instrument panel.

Remove 2 screws and remove the hood release handle (1) from the lower instrument panel cover.
Remove 2 screws, disconnect connectors and remove instrument cluster trim (1) from instrument panel.

Installation
Install the instrument cluster trim onto the instrument panel, connect the connectors and secure with 2 screws.
Install the bottom cover (2) on the instrument panel, connect the connector and secure with one screw.

Install the hood release handle (1) onto the lower instrument panel cover and secure it with 2 screws.
Install the front door seals.
Install the lower trim (1) of the front pillar.

Install the threshold trim (2).
Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
