Removal



Disconnect the connector from the engine air temperature sensor located on the air intake tube (1).

Disconnect the connector from the engine air temperature sensor located on the air intake tube (1).


Disconnect the resonator hose from the air intake tube (1).

Remove the air intake tube (1) and the air filter housing cover (2) as an assembly.

Disconnect the connector from the idle speed control valve (3) located on the throttle body.

Disconnect the connector from the idle speed control valve (3) located on the throttle body.


Remove the idle air control valve from the throttle body.

Installation



Install the idle air control valve onto the throttle body.

Connect the connector to the idle air control valve.

Install the air intake tube (1) and air filter housing cover (2) as an assembly (see the relevant chapter). Tighten the air intake pipe bracket mounting nut to 16 N·m.

Remove the idle air control valve from the throttle body.

Installation



Connect the resonator hose to the air intake tube (1).

Connect the connector to the engine air temperature sensor located on the air intake tube.

Engine 3.2 l (6VD1-W)



Removal



Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

Disconnect the connector from the idle air control valve located on the throttle body.

Remove 2 screws and idle air control valve from throttle body.

Remove 2 screws and idle air control valve from throttle body.


Installation



Install the idle air control valve onto the throttle body and secure with 2 screws.

Connect the connector to the idle air control valve.

Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
