Engine Accessories — Removal (Opel Ascona C)

1. Before disassembling the engine, it is necessary to remove the following auxiliary equipment from it:

• a. generator (chapter 12)
• b. fuel pump (chapter 3)
• in. thermostat (chapter 2)
• g. intake manifold and carburetor (chapter 3)
• d. throttle body, fuel injectors and associated fuel system components (chapter 3)
• e. distributor (chapter 4)
• f. water pump (chapter 2)
• z. exhaust manifold (chapter 3).
