1. The procedure is similar to that described for overhead camshaft (SOHC) models (see Section 2A), paying attention to the following.
2. Before installation, it is necessary to remove the intermediate ring from the end of the crankshaft (if used).
3. After installing the new oil seal, coat the surface of the oil pump where the intermediate ring will be in contact with sealant, then put the intermediate ring on the end of the crankshaft, it will not touch the oil pump.
4. The toothed drive belt should be replaced.
5. Install the rear drive belt cover and the belt itself as described in Chapter 4. Adjust the tension as described in Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.
