Valve lifters — general characteristics (Opel Vectra A)
Although the tappets on these engines cannot be disassembled, they should still be carefully inspected for signs of wear on the contact surfaces. Also check the tappet oil holes to make sure they are not clogged. If the tappets are excessively worn (it's unlikely), it is necessary to replace all the pushers as a set.
