Oil radiator — removal and installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. To gain sufficient access to remove the oil cooler, the cooling system radiator must be removed (as described in Section 3). Alternatively, you can remove the front bumper as described in Section 11 (see illustration).



2. After removing the appropriate components for better access, unscrew the pipe couplings from the oil cooler. Plug the open ends of the pipes to prevent oil leakage and dirt ingress.

3. Unscrew the two mounting nuts and remove the oil cooler from the mounting brackets.

Installation

4. Install in the reverse order, but finally check and, if necessary, top up the engine oil level as described in Section 1.
