Removing
1. Except for the changes below, the procedure is the same as for models with overhead camshaft (SOHC).
2. If the engine has not been removed from the vehicle, disconnect the oil cooler pipe couplings from the oil pump, move the pipes to the side.
3. Remove the intermediate ring from the end of the crankshaft (see illustration).
Installation
4. Coat with sealant the surface of the oil pump where the intermediate ring will fly into, then put the ring on the end of the crankshaft until it touches the oil pump.
5. Toothed drive belt should be replaced, see details. Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.
6. Do not forget to also reconnect the oil cooler pipe to the oil pump, tighten the couplings.
