Removal
Use a syringe to suck out the fluid from the clutch hydraulic reservoir.

Loosen the connecting nut securing the tube to the clutch master cylinder, release it from the clamps and remove the tube (arrow) from the vehicle. Remove the clutch pedal bracket (see the relevant chapter).
Use a screwdriver to press the clamp that secures the pedal to the clutch master cylinder pushrod, remove it from the clutch pedal axle and press out the pedal axle.
Unscrew the 2 nuts (arrows) and remove the clutch master cylinder from the engine compartment bulkhead.

Installation
Install the clutch master cylinder onto the engine compartment bulkhead and secure with 2 nuts, tightening them to a torque of 16 Nm.
Install the clutch pedal bracket (see the relevant chapter).
Install the pedal mounting shaft to the clutch master cylinder pushrod and secure it with a clamp.
Install the clutch hydraulic line and secure it with a clamp. Connect the tube to the clutch master cylinder and secure it with the union nut, tightening it to a torque of 16-20 Nm.
Fill the clutch fluid reservoir with fluid.

Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
Check the clutch operation.
Check and, if necessary, adjust the height of the clutch pedal (see the relevant chapter).
