Removal
Remove the gearbox (see the relevant chapter).
Remove the clamps securing the clutch release bearing housing to the fork.
Pull towards the housing to remove the clutch release fork from the ball end of the support stud.

Remove the clutch release bearing assembly and fork from the transmission.
Remove the support stud with the ball end from the gearbox input shaft cover.

Using a special two-jaw puller and adapter KM-J-2241-11, remove the clutch release bearing from the fastener.

Installation
Press the clutch release bearing onto the fastener so that the thrust surface is on the side opposite the fastener.

Screw the support stud with the ball end into the gearbox input shaft cover.
Lubricate the inner bore of the fastener, the guide sleeve of the clutch release bearing and the ball end of the support stud with general-purpose grease.

Install the clutch release bearing, fork and clutch release fork boot. Make sure the fork is seated correctly on the ball end of the bearing stud and the bearing carrier clips are located behind the fork legs.

Install the gearbox.
Check the clutch operation.
Adjust the installation height and free travel of the clutch pedal (see the relevant chapter).
