Removal



Remove the lower cover from the instrument panel on the driver's side.

Remove the screw and remove the driver's side air duct.

Remove the screw and remove the driver's side air duct.


Disconnect the connector from the clutch pedal switch. Loosen the lock nut and unscrew the limit switch from the bracket.

Use a screwdriver to press the clamp that secures the pedal to the clutch master cylinder pushrod, remove it from the clutch pedal axle and press out the pedal axle.

Unscrew 4 nuts and remove the clutch pedal bracket from the engine compartment bulkhead.

Unscrew 4 nuts and remove the clutch pedal bracket from the engine compartment bulkhead.


Loosen the nut, remove the bolt and remove the clutch pedal and return spring from the bracket.



Installation



Install the clutch pedal and return spring onto the bracket, insert the bolt and screw the nut onto it. Make sure the return spring is properly installed on the front of the clutch and the ends of the spring are located on the bracket.

Install the clutch pedal bracket to the engine compartment bulkhead and secure with 4 nuts, tightening them to a torque of 15 Nm.

Install the pedal mounting shaft to the clutch master cylinder pushrod and secure it with a clamp.

Install the clutch pedal switch and connect the connector to it.

Adjust the installation height and free travel of the clutch pedal (see the relevant chapter).

Install the driver's side ventilation duct.

Install the driver's side instrument panel lower cover.
