The order of the work is as indicated in the previous section, in the first two paragraphs.
Working inside the vehicle, release the clips and remove the lower trim panel from the driver's footwell.
Remove the retainer from the right end of the clutch pedal shaft, then unscrew the pedal nut and remove the washer (pic. 6.2).
Push the roller out of the pedal bracket, then lower the pedal and release spring. Note the position of all washers and/or spacers on the roller so that they can be put in place during installation.
Disconnect the end of the cable from the pedal, releasing the release spring, and remove the pedal and spring.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal, however, before inserting the pedal shaft, lubricate its surface with grease (molybdenum disulfide).
Adjust the length of the clutch cable if necessary.
