1. Remove the trim panel under the dashboard.
2. Disconnect the clutch cable from the pedal and clutch release lever (see previous section). In this case, there is no need to disconnect the cable from the bracket on the clutch housing or remove it from the car. Unhook the pedal release spring.
3. Remove the wire securing the nut to the pedal shaft, unscrew the nut and remove it together with the washer.
4. Pull the roller out of the support bracket and remove the clutch pedal and release spring.
5. Install the pedal in reverse order. Before replacing the pedal shaft, apply a little molybdenum disulfide grease to its supporting surface. Install cable (see previous section) and adjust the clutch if necessary.
