1. Remove the trim panel under the dashboard.
2. Disconnect the clutch cable from the pedal and clutch release lever (see previous section). In this case, there is no need to disconnect the cable from the bracket on the clutch housing or remove it from the car. Detach the pedal release spring.
3. Remove the wire securing the nut to the pedal shaft, unscrew the nut and remove it together with the washer.
4. Pull the shaft out of the support bracket and remove the clutch pedal and release spring.
5. The pedal is installed in the reverse order. Before installing the pedal shaft, apply a small amount of molybdenum disulfide grease to its bearing surface. Install the cable (see previous section) and adjust the clutch if necessary.
