2. Before removing the cable, measure the length of the adjusting nut protruding from (from the clutch release lever side) threaded part of the cable end. This will allow you to install the new cable right away so that subsequent adjustments are minimal.
3. Remove the spring clamp from the cable (see fig.5.3), loosen the adjusting nut and disconnect the cable from the clutch release lever. After this, the cable can be disconnected from the bracket on the clutch housing (see photo).

4. Working inside, unhook the release spring from the clutch pedal and disconnect the cable from the pedal lever (see Fig.5.4).

5. Pull the cable into the engine compartment through the partition.
6. On models that have a headlight washer, it is necessary to move the washer reservoir to the side.
7. Install the cable in the reverse order. Position the cable adjusting nut so that the threaded end of the cable protrudes from it the same amount as the old cable, and then adjust the clutch as indicated in section 2.
