Since 09.1995, the design changes have been made to the clutch cable, the cable guide to the pedals and the damping element at the clutch rocker.
1. If noises are heard from under the instrument panel when you press the clutch pedal, then the cause, as a rule, is a lack of lubrication of the clutch cable.
2. At the same time, press the clutch pedal up and lubricate the drive cable hook, as well as the clutch pedal groove at the cable attachment point with OPEL ET-No. 90001825 grease.
3. Measure the thread length of the clutch release lever to the adjusting screw with a straight edge and record this value to make it easier to adjust the new clutch cable.

4. Remove the locking clip from the threaded element of the clutch cable with a screwdriver.

5. Press the clutch release lever with a pry bar and disconnect the cable. Press the cable out of the holder.
