Since 09.1995, design changes have been made to the clutch drive cable, the cable guide to the pedals and the damping element at the clutch rocker arm.
1. If noise is heard from under the instrument panel when you press the clutch pedal, the cause is usually insufficient lubrication of the clutch drive cable.
2. At the same time, press the clutch pedal up and lubricate the hook of the drive cable, as well as the groove of the clutch pedal at the point where the cable is attached, with OPEL ET-No. 90001825 grease.
3. Use a ruler to measure the length of the clutch release lever thread to the adjusting screw and record the measurement to make it easier to adjust the new clutch cable.
