Cars with a manual transmission are equipped with a dry single plate clutch, which consists of five main elements: a friction plate, a pressure plate, a diaphragm-type spring, a cover and a clutch release bearing.
The clutch release lever is actuated by the clutch pedal via a cable. As the friction disc wears out, the clutch pedal gradually rises from its original position. The manufacturer does not indicate in the technical specifications the frequency of adjusting the clutch cable.
