Removal



Remove the clutch.

Remove the clutch.


Unscrew the fork and remove the release bearing.

Pull the release lever upwards. Remove the fork and unscrew the release bearing guide sleeve.

Use a screwdriver to remove the dirty sealing ring from the release bearing guide.

Installation



Caution: Before installing the clutch disc, check the cleanliness of the sealing ring in the release bearing guide. Always replace dirty ones.


Press a new sealing ring into the release bearing guide using KM-445 (f10 gearbox) or KM-518 (f16 gearbox) or other suitable tool.

Fill the sealing part of the ring with protective grease OPEL-ET-1948814/90001804.



Secure the release bearing guide to the clutch housing with a force of 5 Nm, having first installed a new dry rubber ring in the clutch housing.

Lightly lubricate the sliding surface of the guide with Moly paste OPEL-ET-1948524/90001825.

Check the clutch release bearing. Replace if worn.

Install the bearing with the fork and release lever and secure with a torque of 35 Nm.

Install the clutch.
