Note. When replacing the clutch release bearing due to noise, check the condition of the drive plate pressure spring petals. In case of severe wear of the ends of the petals at the points of contact with the bearing, replace the drive disk assembly.
Bearing A clutch release is a single unit with the slave cylinder B, fixed with three bolts on the inner wall of the clutch housing.
You will need: key «at 11» for pipeline fastening nuts, TORX T30 wrench.
1. Remove the gearbox (see Removal and installation of a transmission), unless it was removed to repair the clutch.
2. Turn away a nut of fastening of an intermediate tube of a hydrodrive of deenergizing of coupling to the working cylinder.
3. Remove the three bolts securing the slave cylinder to the clutch housing..
4.... and remove the cylinder assembly with the clutch release bearing from the clutch housing.
Note. Before installing, check the new bearing. It should rotate easily, without jamming and noise and have no backlash. Check the ease of movement of the bearing on the guide of the working cylinder by pressing it in the axial direction. The bearing should move to the stop without jamming and clearly return to its original position by the compression spring.
5. Remove the sealing rubber ring from the grooves of the clutch housing by prying it with a screwdriver.
6. Replace the clutch release bearing o-ring regardless of its condition.
7. Establish the working cylinder of a drive of deenergizing of coupling in gathering with the bearing in an order, the return to removal. Tighten the bolts of the working cylinder to the clutch housing with a torque of 7 Nm.
8. Attach a tube to the working cylinder and tighten the nut of its fastening.
9. Install the gearbox (see Removal and installation of a transmission).
10. Remove air from the hydraulic clutch release (see Bleeding the hydraulic clutch release).
