Note the order of the connecting rod bearing caps.
Disconnect the connecting rod bearing caps from the connecting rods.
Note. The contact surfaces of the connecting rods and connecting rod bearing caps are selected individually and therefore must not be rearranged or damaged. To avoid damage, do not place connecting rods and caps on the contact surfaces.
Note. Pay attention to the installation position - tides (arrow) on the connecting rod bearing caps must face the gearbox.
Remove 8 mounting bolts.
Clean all components, check and replace if necessary.
Install new connecting rod bearing shells and coat them with engine oil.
Attach the connecting rod bearing caps to the connecting rods.
Tighten 8 mounting bolts to 13 Nm and tighten +60°and +15°.
Use new bolts.
Attention! Always use M6.5 bolts.
