Removing
Remove flywheel.
Remove the plastic ring with a screwdriver.

Note. Make holes in the areas shown in the illustration at the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions as these are the only areas where there are cavities behind the o-ring.
Use a suitable tool, such as an awl, to make a hole in the O-ring

Note. The hole diameter should not exceed 2 mm. Otherwise, the bolt of KM 6624 will not be able to hold the ring.
Place the awl on the outer edge of the O-ring.
Remove the sealing ring.
Fix the KM 6624 special tool on the O-ring.
Tighten the bolt.
Removing the gland: 1 - special tool KM 6624; 2 - special tools KM-328-B and KM 6624
Attach special tool KM-328-B to KM 6624.
Remove the O-ring using special tools KM-328-B and KM 6624.
Installation
Remove any remaining sealant from the cylinder block/oil sump joint (arrows in the picture).
Install a new sealing ring.
Slide the O-ring over the crankshaft. Shift until full and even fit in the cylinder block.
Note. Do not press in the O-ring completely.
Install the O-ring using the KM 6623 special tool.
Installation of the stuffing box: 1 - special tool KM 6623; 2 - fixing bolts; 2 - fastening bolt
Tighten the 3 screws to secure.
Fully press in the O-ring.
Tighten the mounting bolt.
Remove special tool KM 6623
Loosen 3 fixing screws.
Install the flywheel.
