Removal
Remove the flywheel.
Remove the plastic ring with a screwdriver.
Removing the plastic ring: 1 – plastic ring; 2 – screwdriver
Note: Make holes in the areas shown in the picture at the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions, as these are the only areas where there are cavities behind the O-ring.
Use a suitable tool, such as an awl, to make a hole in the sealing ring
Places for making holes: 1 - places for holes; 2 - suitable tool
Note: The hole diameter should not be more than 2 mm. Otherwise, the bolt of the KM 6624 device will not be able to hold the ring.
Place the awl on the outer edge of the sealing ring.
Remove the sealing ring.
Attach the special tool KM 6624 to the sealing ring.
Tighten the bolt.
Removing the oil seal: 1 – special tool KM 6624; 2 – special tools KM-328-B and KM 6624
Attach special tool KM-328-B to KM 6624.
Remove the sealing ring using special tools KM-328-B and KM 6624.
Installation
Remove any remaining sealant from the cylinder block to oil pan connection (arrows in the picture).

Install a new O-ring.
Slide the sealing ring along the crankshaft. Slide until it is fully and evenly seated in the cylinder block.
Note: Do not press the O-ring completely into place.
Install the sealing ring using the special tool KM 6623.
Installation of the seal: 1 – special tool KM 6623; 2 – fixing bolts; 2 – mounting bolt
Tighten the 3 bolts to secure.
Press the sealing ring completely into place.
Tighten the mounting bolt.
Remove special tool KM 6623
Remove 3 bolts to secure.
Install the flywheel.
