Replacing the clutch slave cylinder line (Opel Insignia A)

Removal

1. Remove the gearbox.

2. Disconnect the pressure line (1) from the clutch slave cylinder and unscrew the bolt (2).



3. Remove the pressure pipe connector (1):

• Remove the retaining clip (2).
• Remove the connector.

Note: If necessary, squeeze the locking tabs slightly.

• Replace the retaining clip in the connector with a new one.

4. Remove the pressure pipe:

Note: Carefully detach the retaining tabs.

• Disconnect the pressure pipe from the retaining sleeve using a screwdriver or similar tool.
• Remove the pressure pipe.

5. Remove the retaining sleeve:

• Disconnect the retaining sleeve (1) from the clutch housing.

• Move the locking sleeve upwards.
• Remove the retaining sleeve.

Note: After removal, the retaining sleeve must be replaced with a new one.

6. Check the sealing ring and pressure pipe for damage. Replace if necessary.

Installation

1. Install the locking sleeve (1) into the gearbox housing socket, pressing until you hear a click.

Note: Insert the bushing protector into the groove of the gearbox housing.

2. Install the pressure pipe (1) and insert it into the locking sleeve until it clicks into place.

3. Connect the pressure pipe and tighten the nut (2).

4. Install the pressure pipe connector (1) and press the locking clamp (2) until it clicks into place.



5. Install the gearbox.
