Removing
Put the car on the goats.
Unscrew the bearing cover.
Remove retaining ring (arrow). Unscrew the barrel screw.
Remove the transmission drive shaft using the special tool.
If at hand there is no special tool for extracting the drive shaft of the gearbox, make a temporary one. This will require a steel plate measuring 10x10 cm and about 7 mm thick, with an 8 mm hole drilled in the center. Insert an M7x60 screw into the hole and screw into the gearbox input shaft. Using two pliers, pry the steel plate from below and remove the shaft.
Install special tool KM-449-1 with stop 22-1 to remove the transmission drive shaft. Screw the KM-449-1 device into the shaft and, using the stop 22-1, remove the shaft.
Unscrew the clutch cover from the gearbox housing.
Remove the safety clip from the screw part of the clutch cable with a screwdriver and remove the clutch cable from the release lever.
Press with a mount and snap in with three KM450 brackets (arrow).
Attention: Distribute them around the circumference.
Unscrew clutch basket from flywheel and remove.
Installation
Attention: Before installing the driven disk, check that the gasket of the release bearing clutch is not dirty. Replace if dirty.
Attach the clutch assembly with the installed driven disk to the flywheel with screws.
The markings on the clutch and on the flywheel must align (arrow).
The long part of the clutch disc hub should look towards the box.
Clean and lubricate the clutch splines with multipurpose grease.
Raise the clutch disc slightly and align with the gearbox input shaft. Carefully, by hand, insert the drive shaft of the box into the splines of the clutch disc and gear set. In this case, the splines of both spline cuts of the shaft must enter the corresponding spline cuts of the clutch disc and the gear unit.
Secure the clutch to the flywheel with 15 Nm.
Screw the cylindrical screw into the gearbox shaft and press the shaft with KM-564 into the gear block until it stops. Do not hammer the roller, so as not to damage the splines
Lock the roller with a new retaining ring.
Screw the cover onto the bearing shield, lubricating it with sealant or laying PVC tape, and tighten to 50 Nm. After tightening, the distance between the top edge of the cover and the plane of the bearing shield must be max. 4 mm in order to achieve sufficient sealing.
Using a pry bar, loosen the clutch and remove 3 KM-450 brackets.
Screw the clutch cover onto the clutch housing with 7 Nm.
Install the cable on the release lever and fix the safety bracket on the screw thread of the cable.
Adjust clutch pedal see point 9.4.
