Removal
Remove the screws and remove the rear console.
Disconnect the connector (2) from the parking brake lever limit switch.
Remove the bolts (4), loosen the lock nut (7) and unscrew the adjusting nut of the parking brake cables.
Remove the compensator (5) from the short parking brake cable pin (3).
Remove the short parking brake cable pin (3) from the parking brake actuator lever (1).
Remove the parking brake lever assembly from the vehicle floor.
Installation
Install the parking brake actuator lever (1) and connect the short parking brake cable pin (3) to it.
Connect the short parking brake cable pin (3) to the compensator (5).
Secure the parking brake lever with the bolts (4), tightening them to a torque of 15 Nm.
Screw on the adjusting nut, adjust the parking brake cables and tighten the lock nut (7).
Connect the connector (2) to the parking brake lever limit switch.
Make sure that the rear wheels rotate freely when the parking brake lever is released.
Install the rear console and secure it with screws.
