Front brake guard (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Remove the caliper, lift it up, remove it from the brake pad guide and secure it to the front suspension strut with soft wire, without disconnecting the brake hose from the caliper.

Remove the hub assembly with the brake disc (see the corresponding float).

Remove the bolts and remove the front brake boot from the steering knuckle.

Installation

Install the front brake boot onto the steering knuckle and secure with the bolts, tightening them to a torque of 13 Nm.

Install the hub assembly with the brake disc (see the relevant chapter).

Install the caliper onto the brake pad guide and screw in the caliper guide and locking bolts and tighten them to a torque of 74 N·m.
