Parking brake cable compensator (Opel Frontera B)

Removal

Remove the screws and remove the rear console.

Loosen the lock nut (1) and unscrew the adjusting nut.



Disconnect the pin (2) of the short parking brake cable from the compensator (3).

Disconnect the parking brake cables (4) from the compensator (3).

Remove the compensator (3).

Installation

Install the compensator (3).

Connect the parking brake cables (4) to the compensator (3).

Connect the pin (2) of the short parking brake cable to the compensator (3).

Screw on the adjusting nut, adjust the parking brake cables and tighten the lock nut (1).

Install the rear console and secure it with screws.
