Removing
1. Loosen the locknuts on the outer sides of the tie rod. Nut with left-hand thread is marked "L". The location of the nuts is shown in the illustration.
2. Disconnect the outer tie rod from the steering arm and from the middle link and remove the tie rod.
3. After counting the number of revolutions, unscrew the tips from the steering rod. Write down the number of turns you get.
4. Disconnect the tie rod from the bipod and from the pendulum arm and remove the tie rod.
Installation
External steering drafts and tips are established in sequence, return to removal. In doing so, keep in mind the following:
1. Attach the middle link to the steering arm and swing arm. The pendulum arm fastening nut is tightened with a torque of 60 Nm, the bipod fastening nut with a torque of 110 Nm. Fasten both nuts.
2. Screw the tie rod ends to the number of revolutions recorded during removal and measure the tie rods as shown in the illustration.
3. Connect the left-hand threaded tie rods to the middle link and tighten the nuts.
4. Secure the bipod with a torque of 110 Nm.
5. Tighten the tie rod lock nuts to 120 Nm.
6. Finally, check the wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
