Removal and installation fresh and heated air regulator/replacing rods (Opel Kadett D)

Removal

Disconnect the heater rods located under the instrument panel from the air distributor housing. A - heater rod 260 mm long, B - air distribution rod 235 mm long.



Unscrew the middle cover at the points marked with the letter "X".



Remove the lid from the holders.



Pull out the multi-pin plug of the electrical switches.



Unscrew the regulator at the points marked with the letter "X" and remove it.

Installation

Install the regulator with rods, connect the rods to the air distributor housing.

Screw on the regulator.

Close flaps 10 and 11 in the air distributor housing.

Set levers -X- and -Y- to "zero".

Securely fasten rods -A- and -B-.



Connect the multi-pin plug of the electrical switches.

Place the cover into the holders on the instrument panel and secure it with two screws.
