Removal

Remove the intake manifold by unscrewing the mounting bolt.
Remove the engine ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.
Disconnect the intake pipe from the air intake hose.
Disconnect the intake pipe from the turbocharger.
Note: Close the turbocharger inlet pipe.
Remove the intake pipe.
Relieve fuel pressure through the test port using the KM-J-34730-91 leak tester.
Collect any leaking fuel in a suitable container.
Disconnect the vacuum line (1) from the fuel pressure regulator (2). Remove the mounting clamp (5) from the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel rail.
Mark the installation position and carefully remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail.
Note: Absolute cleanliness is extremely important at this point.
Replace the O-rings.
Installation
Before installation, coat the O-rings with a thin layer of silicone grease (white).
Mark the installation position of the fuel pressure regulator. Install the fuel pressure regulator into the fuel rail.

Install the fuel pressure regulator mounting clamp and connect the fuel rail, tighten to 5 Nm.
Connect the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator.
Remove the turbocharger inlet pipe plug.
Attach the engine ventilation hose to the cylinder head cover and secure with a clamp.
Connect the intake pipe to the turbocharger.
Connect the intake pipe to the air intake hose.
Tighten the clamp mounting bolt.
