Caution! It is important to maintain extreme cleanliness when working on the fuel system, as even tiny particles of dirt can cause abnormal operation of the system or engine. Fuel system fittings must be closed with suitable plugs (according to the Opel parts catalog number 45 06 154/ part number: 9201697). Sealing plugs are for single use only.
Removal
Open the hood.
Disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the grounding connector from the grounding clamp by loosening the mounting nut.
Remove the engine cover.
Note: Reattach the rubber mounts that may have come loose during removal to the engine cover.
Caution! After disconnecting the high-pressure lines, close the fuel injector and pressure chamber openings with protective caps.

Remove 4 high pressure lines.
Caution: When loosening the lock nut, hold the nozzle open with a wrench.
Remove 8 lock nuts.
Disconnect the oil line (figure 2.268).
Note: The oil line cannot be disconnected from the fuel return damper housing.

Remove 4 clamps (arrows in the picture).
Remove the oil line.

Remove 4 fuel injectors by unscrewing 4 mounting nuts.
Note: If the fuel injectors cannot be removed by hand, use special tool B 46786 in conjunction with KM-328-B.
Installation
Clean 4 fuel injector housings.
Note: To clean the fuel injector seats, install B 47632 with coarse wool into the fuel injector housing and clean the fuel injector seat. Repeat the cleaning process with clean wool.
Install 4 fuel injectors.
Replace 4 O-rings.
Install 4 fuel injectors with bracket.
Note: Installation sequence is cylinder 4, 3, 2, 1.
Tighten the 4 nuts to 25 Nm.
Connect the oil line.
Connect 4 oil lines to the fuel injectors.
Caution! When tightening the lock nut, hold the fuel injector open with a wrench. The delivery pipes can only be connected once.
Install 4 new high pressure lines.
Tighten the 4 lock nuts (M12) to 25 Nm.
Tighten the 4 lock nuts (M14) to 23 Nm.
Connect the battery.
Attach the grounding connector to the grounding clamp. Tighten the nut.
Check the fuel system for leaks.
Caution: Wear safety glasses and gloves before testing.
Start the engine.
Install the engine cover.
Program volatile memory.
Close the hood.
