Replacing the dosage module — removal and installation (Opel Corsa C)

Attention! When working with the fuel system, pay attention to cleanliness, as even the smallest particles of dirt can cause malfunctions in the engine or fuel system.


Removal



Removal


Open the hood.

Disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the ground connection from the ground terminal.

Caution! The dosing module and the surrounding area must be free of grease.


Caution: After removal, the dosing module and the surrounding area must be cleaned again.


Remove the dosing module.

Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

Unscrew the 3 mounting bolts.

Caution: Do not tilt the dosing module.


Caution: Do not tilt the dosing module.


Turn the dosing module and remove it while holding it horizontally.

Installation



Clean the opening and sealing surfaces using a lint-free cloth.



Install a new dosing module.

Coat the seal with clean engine oil.

Place the dosing module horizontally and rotate.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 6 Nm.

Secure the wire harness connector.

Connect the battery

Connect the ground connection to the ground terminal.

Program volatile memory.

Close the hood.
