Attention! When working with the system "Common Rail" wait for one minute after turning off the engine. The system releases pressure automatically.
Caution! When working with fuel, keep the area clean, as even very small dirt particles can cause engine or system malfunctions. Close open fuel system connections with suitable plugs. Re-use of plugs is not permitted.

Removal
Open the hood.
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the grounding connector from the grounding clamp.
Remove the engine cover

Remove the intake pipe.
Disconnect 3 wire harnesses.
Disconnect the engine ventilation hose.
Disconnect the quick release coupling.
Disconnect from the turbocharger air intake hose.
Loosen the clamp.
Disconnect the mass air flow sensor from the air intake hose.
Loosen the clamp and unscrew the 2 mounting bolts.
Place a drain container underneath.

Disconnect the high pressure line from the high pressure pump to the pressure chamber. Unscrew the 2 union nuts.
Installation
Install the high pressure pipe from the high pressure pump to the pressure chamber.
Use a new high pressure line.
Tighten the M14 union nut to 19 Nm.
Tighten the M12 union nut to 24 Nm.
Install the inlet pipe.
Connect to the turbocharger air intake hose.

Tighten the clamp to a torque of 3.5 Nm.
Connect the mass air flow sensor to the air intake hose.
Tighten the clamp to a torque of 3.5 Nm.
Connect the engine ventilation hose.
Secure with a clamp.
Tighten the 2 mounting bolts.
Secure the 3 wire harnesses.
Install the engine cover.
Connect the battery.
Attach the grounding connector to the grounding clamp.
Tighten the mounting nut.
Program volatile memory.
Close the hood.
