Replacing the fuel return damper housing (Opel Corsa C)

Removal



Removal


Open the hood.

Disconnect the battery.

Disconnect the grounding connector from the grounding clamp.

Remove the engine cover.

Remove the fuel return damper housing.

Remove the fuel return line from the special tool KM-796-A.

Remove 2 hoses.

Remove 2 clamps.

Disconnect the oil line.

Unscrew 2 bolts (arrows in the picture).

Note: If the oil line becomes disconnected from the damper housing, it must be replaced with a new one.


Remove 4 oil lines.

Remove 4 clamps (arrows in the picture)

Installation



Install the oil line.

Connect 4 oil lines to the fuel injectors.

Attach the fuel return damper housing.

Connect the oil line.

Connect the fuel return line.

Connect 2 hoses.

Install 2 clamps.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 9 Nm.

Install the engine cover.

Connect the battery.

Attach the grounding connector to the grounding clamp.

Program volatile memory.

Close the hood.
