You will need a new clamp to do the job.
Warning! Before performing the operation, be sure to read the section «Safety measures for the maintenance and repair of the engine management system».
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the fuel pressure regulator (see «Fuel pump - check and replace»).
3. Cut the collar (must be replaced with a new one during reassembly) and disconnect the fuel return hose from the regulator.
4. Using a 7 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two fastening nuts and remove the regulator.
5. Remove and check the condition of the sealing ring...
...and spacer. If there is damage, they must be replaced.
6. Using a compressor, we supply compressed air to nozzle 1 and gradually increase the pressure from 200 kPa and above.
At a pressure of 300-380 kPa, the regulator valve should operate and the excess pressure (air) will exit through port 2. If the valve opens sooner or later, it must be replaced.
7. Install the parts in reverse order.
