Removing
Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap and replace it with a sealed cap.
Loosen the bolts securing the return spring bracket and slide the bracket towards the rear of the vehicle.
Disconnect the retracting spring.
Disconnect the brake pipelines from the pressure regulator, having previously marked their position, since they have different union nuts, and plug the pipelines with plugs.
Remove the pressure regulator and unscrew the protective nut.
Installation
Screw the protective nut onto the new pressure regulator and install the regulator on the vehicle.
Connect the brake lines to the pressure regulator.
Connect the spring to the adjuster and to the bracket on the rear axle.
Move the regulator lever all the way to the front of the vehicle.
Move the bracket so that the spring is in contact without play with the bracket on the rear axle and the pressure regulator lever.
Bolt the bracket to the rear axle.
Replace the seal on the brake fluid reservoir with the original cap.
Bleed the hydraulic brake system and make sure the connections are tight.
Check the operation of the pressure regulator.
