Removal



Use a syringe to suck out as much brake fluid as possible from the reservoir.

Disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder and, on hatchback and sedan vehicles, the pressure regulators.

Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the master brake cylinder from the vacuum booster.

Press the reservoir stopper with a screwdriver and remove it by tilting it in the case of a GMF brand brake system or by pulling it in the case of an ATE brand brake system.

Installation



Install the master cylinder onto the brake booster and secure it with new self-locking nuts.

On hatchback and sedan vehicles, install pressure regulators in place.

Connect the brake lines to the master cylinder.

Install new seals on the master cylinder and place the reservoir on it.

Remove air from the brake hydraulic system and check its tightness.
