Separate the main brake cylinder from the booster and, without disconnecting the pipelines from the main cylinder, move it forward.
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the booster.
Remove switch «stop signal».
Disconnect the brake pedal return spring and remove the pushrod axle.
Unscrew the nuts securing the vacuum booster bracket from the brake pedal mounting bracket.
Unscrew the mounting bolts of the vacuum booster bracket, remove the bracket from the front end of the body and remove the vacuum booster assembly with the bracket.
Clamp the vacuum booster by its bracket in a vice and unscrew the fork of the piston pusher.
Remove vacuum booster from bracket.
The vacuum booster is installed in the reverse order of removal. Then, without starting the engine, press the brake pedal five times and measure the working stroke of the vacuum booster along the pedal stroke: 1 mm of the booster piston stroke corresponds to 6-9 mm of the pedal stroke. If the piston stroke of the vacuum booster is not correct, adjust the length of the pusher by unscrewing the fork locknut and turning the piston rod with pliers. Tighten the pusher fork locknut. Bleed the hydraulic brake system and make sure the connections are tight.
