Removal



Unscrew the brake fluid reservoir cap and screw in a sealed cap instead.

Loosen the tension spring bracket mounting bolts and disconnect the tension spring.

Loosen the tension spring bracket mounting bolts and disconnect the tension spring.


Disconnect the brake lines from the pressure regulator, having previously marked their location, and plug their openings with plugs.

Remove the regulator and unscrew the stamped protective cap.

Installation



Screw the protective cap onto the new pressure regulator and install it in the reverse order of removal.

Remove the sealed plug from the brake fluid reservoir and screw on the standard plug.

Bleed the brake hydraulic system and make sure the connections are tight.
