Additional installation of protective moldings (Opel Kadett D)

Mark the mounting points for the rivets for the protective moldings. Drill the holes with a 2.5 mm drill.

Attention: But when drilling the body, damage the parts located under the trim (cable etc.).

Cover the holes with varnish to protect against corrosion.

Protective moldings are secured with rivets.



Drive in rivet A- (OPEL-No. 164361) using a conventional tool.



Place clamps on the rivet heads and move them forward in the direction of travel until they stop.

Orient the clamps and secure them with sealing compound.



Install protective molding.

Note: If you want to remove the protective molding, remove it from the clamps using a plastic wedge.
