2. Remove the mounting bracket and its rubber insulator from the case. If you are working on power steering, disconnect the banjo couplers and remove the fluid lines.
3. Remove the bellows clamps and remove the bellows from the case. If you are replacing both bellows, the entire bellows/sleeve assembly can be removed from the case.
4. Reassemble in reverse order, but pay attention to the following essential requirements.
5. The concave part of the flange with the hole for the mounting bracket bolt should look down after installing the steering control.
6. If you removed the gear cap, make sure that its recess aligns with the rib on the steering case (Pic. 8.6).

7. On power steering models, install banjo couplings using new sealing gaskets.
