2. Remove the horn button from the center of the steering wheel and disconnect the wires.

3. Set the steering wheel to the straight ahead position and unscrew the retaining nut.
4. Using a small extractor with two legs facing outward, insert it through the two holes in the wheel hub and remove the steering wheel from the column shaft. Do not attempt to remove the wheel by force, otherwise the safety type steering column may be damaged (photo).

5. If necessary, the contact ring of the horn can be replaced by disconnecting it from the wheel hub. When installing a new ring, make sure the interrupting segment of the direction indicator switch is on the left.
6. Assembly is carried out in reverse order.
7. Check that the steering wheel is properly aligned before tightening its retaining nut to the specified torque value.
