1. Fill the pump fluid reservoir to the top with the specified liquid.
2. Start the engine and let it idle.
3. Slowly turn the steering wheel from one extreme position to the other. This will be easier to do if the front wheels are not touching the ground. Do not hold the steering wheel at full lock in any direction for more than 10 seconds.
4. Repeat this several times until the fluid level in the reservoir stops dropping and then finally top up the fluid to the mark and turn off the engine.
