Note: This operation is rather complicated, since the instrument panel must be completely removed to remove the pedal assembly. It is recommended to entrust its implementation to the specialists of the Opel service station.
1. Turn out 2 bolts of fastening of the brake booster (see resist. illustration).

2. Remove the dashboard (see chapter 11), steering shaft jacket assembly, steering column intermediate shaft.
3. Remove the stoplight switch sensor, and on vehicles equipped with a manual transmission and a tempostat, it is additionally necessary to remove the sensor from the clutch pedal.
4. Unlock the clutch master cylinder rod using special tools (see chapter 6) and separate it from the pedal.
5. Remove the retaining clip, separate the return spring of the brake pedal and remove the pin securing the GTZ rod to the brake pedal (see resist. illustration).

6. Loosen the 3 mounting nuts and remove the pedal assembly. On models equipped with a manual transmission, disconnect the clutch pedal retainer.
7. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of removal. After installing all components, check that the position of the steering wheel coincides with the straight direction of movement of the wheels.
