Removal and installation the foot brake pedal assembly (Opel Corsa C)

1. Remove the clutch pedal (see Chapter 6).

2. Remove the brake pedal bracket support mounting bolt from the bulkhead (see accompanying illustration). Disconnect the brake light switch sensor wiring connector and remove the switch (see Section 18).

3. Release the sensor-switch wiring harness from the holder on the brake pedal bracket (see illustration 14.2).

4. Remove the retaining plate and separate the brake pedal return spring (see accompanying illustration).

5. Loosen the 3 nuts securing the pedal assembly to the passenger compartment bulkhead and remove the brake master cylinder rod mounting axle from the brake pedal (see illustration 14.4).

6. Loosen the 2 nuts securing the brake pedal bracket to the support (see illustration 14.4) and remove the pedal assembly.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
