Wheel brake cylinder (drum brakes) (Opel Corsa C)

1. Remove the brake shoes (see Section 10).

2. Loosen the brake line union nut on the back of the brake shield (see accompanying illustration), but do not unscrew it completely. Unscrew the wheel brake cylinder mounting bolt.

3. Place a clean rag under the brake mechanism, completely loosen the brake line union nut and immediately attach it to the new brake cylinder, tighten the union nut by hand. Remove any traces of spilled brake fluid.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Upon completion of the work, bleed the corresponding circuit of the hydraulic brake drive (see Section 3), if necessary, make the appropriate adjustment to the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Check the proper functioning of the brake system.
