2. To reduce fluid loss, tightly wrap the tank cap by laying a plastic film under it, or pinch the hose with a clamp.
3. Remove the top return spring and move the shoes away from the cylinder.
4. Clear bolts of fastening of the cylinder to a brake board and the union. Turn away the union and muffle a tube and an opening in the cylinder.
5. Turn away bolts and remove the cylinder.
Disassembly
6. Clean the cylinder. Remove covers. Remove pistons and spring (see photo).
7. Check up a condition of the piston and an internal surface of the cylinder. If there are defects on these parts, replace the cylinder (see photo).
8. Before assembly, carefully clean all parts, pistons, springs and cuffs, lubricate with brake fluid. Assemble the cylinder, replacing all seals (supplied as part of a repair kit).
9. The cylinder is installed in the reverse order. When finished, bleed only the wheel brake hydraulic drive. Check parking brake adjustment.
